Sparking Matcha Lemonade

A refreshing start to a hot summer day!

INGREDIENTS (makes 2 servings)

1/4 cups water

1/2 tsp matcha powder (ceremonial grade matcha powder is preferred as it does contain more antioxidants)

1 lemon zested and juiced

2-3 drops stevia or monkfruit sweetener

1 1/2 cups sparkling water

2 handfuls ice cubes


PROCEDURE

  1. Fill two cups halfway with ice cubes. In a separate cup, whisk together the 1/4 cup of filtered water with matcha powder. Stir in the lemon zest, juice and sweetener.
  2. Divide the match blend between the two cups and pour the sparkling water over. Enjoy!


NOTES: Matcha blend can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge for up to 2 days.
