5 Healthy Sweet Tooth Fixes with 3 Ingredients or Less

Avocado Shake
INGREDIENTS (makes 1 serving)
1 small perfectly ripe avocado, frozen
1/4 cup ice cubes
1 tbsp sweetened condensed milk (coconut condensed milk available)
3/4 cup milk
PROCEDURE
- Place all the ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth.
Extra:
add a splash of vanilla extract or some lime zest into the shake!
Orange Creamsicle Parfait
INGREDIENTS (makes 2 servings)
1 orange, zested
1/4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
1 cup 2% vanilla Greek yogurt (or non-dairy Greek yogurt)
1/2 cup store-bought granola clusters
PROCEDURE
- Mix together the greek yogurt, zest of the orange and juice.
- Divide mixture into two cups and top off with granola clusters.
Extra:
Alternate layers of yogurt, granola and fruits of your choice.
Hong Kong Style Mango Pudding
INGREDIENTS (makes 2 servings)
2 cups fresh or frozen ataulfo mango
1 (7g) packet unflavoured gelatin
1/4 cup evaporated milk (or coconut milk)
1/2 cup boiling hot water
PROCEDURE
- Place the mango in a blender and puree until smooth. Set aside.
- Place the gelatin in a bowl and pour 1/4 cup of milk over, and let the gelatin “bloom.” Then whisk in the boiling water until the gelatin is dissolved.
- Add the milk mixture into the blender and puree until smooth.
- Divide the mixture into 2 ramekins and chill in the fridge until set.
Extra:
Drizzle 1-2 tablespoon of evaporated milk over the chilled mango pudding before serving.
Chocolate Mousse
INGREDIENTS (serves 4)
300g silken tofu
150 g chocolate, roughly chopped (Ruby Cocoa / Dark / Milk / White)
PROCEDURE
- Melt the chocolate over a double boiler, until completely smooth.
- Combine the tofu and melted chocolate in a blender, and puree until smooth.
- Divide the mixture into 4 ramekins and chill in the fridge for 1 hour before enjoying.
Extra:
Blend in a dash of cinnamon or cardamom.
Chocolate Hazelnut Bites aka Vegan Ferrero Rocher
INGREDIENTS (makes 3 servings)
3 Medjool dates
3 tsp hazelnut butter
1 tbsp cocoa nibs
PROCEDURE
- Slice each date lengthwise, remove the pit.
- Fill each date with a teaspoon of hazelnut butter and sprinkle with cocoa nibs.
- Chill in the fridge for an hour.
Extra:
Change it up and try pistachio butter or walnut butter.
