Chia Jam
INGREDIENTS (makes 8 servings)
2 cups fresh or frozen berries
1 tbsp maple syrup or honey (optional)
2-4 tbsp white or black whole chia seeds
PROCEDURE
- Place berries into a saucepan. Bring to a simmer. Remove from heat and mash with the back of a fork. Stir in the sweetener and chia seeds. Let the chia seeds set for 10 minutes before enjoying!
Extra:
Add 1 tsp of lemon zest, vanilla or cinnamon for an extra boost of flavour!
A delicious plant-based one-pot meal.
