Beautifying Green Smoothie

An antioxidant and collagen-rich smoothie, delicious for breakfast or an afternoon pick-me up! The addition of ginger adds a little kick that will be sure to invigorate your body. :)


1 cup non-dairy milk of your choice 
¾ cup frozen chopped kale or spinach
1 very ripe frozen banana
1 tbsp organic unflavoured gelatin*
1 tbsp ground chia or flax
½ tsp maca powder (optional)
¼” slice fresh gingerroot, peeled

*Gelatin is an excellent source of protein, providing a whopping 11 grams in just 1 tablespoon.


Step 1
In a blender, combine all ingredients and blend until smooth and creamy. If you prefer a thinner consistency, just blend in more milk or water.
